Cup Stacking
Objective To stack cups according to several different patterns in the shortest possible time.
Participants Indivuals or pairs
Materials

All stacking cups, timing mats and timers are provided.

Rules

The rules for cup stacking, also known as sports stacking in the competitive world, are defined by the World Sport Stacking Association. The rule book can be downloaded from their web site. At the London District Science Olympics, we offer prizes for the 3-6-3, Cycle, and Pairs competitions.

Judging

The time is recorded electronically and displayed to the audience to within one hundredth of a second.
