Participation of Humans

Strict rules govern the participation of humans in science fair projects. We follow the same rules as are used at the Canada Wide Science Fair, which can be found on the mySTEMspace website.

If you are intending to have humans participate in your project, including yourself and your immediate family, please read all the pages relating to the participation of humans very carefully.

First, decide if your project is Low Risk or Significant Risk. There are separate forms that must be completed for each:

Form 4.1A Participation of Humans – Low Risk
Form 4.1B Participation of Humans – Significant Risk
