Water for the World
Engineers Without Borders is a non-profit organization that works to eradicate poverty through work in Africa and through public awareness projects in Canada. In this hands-on workshop, students will gain a better understanding of water poverty in developing countries, the importance of having access to clean water, where we get our clean water from and how that compares with developing countries. We will also be exploring the role that youth has in addressing these issues. All of this will be communicated through a hands-on workshop, which will include the building of a water filtration system.
