The GreenGenie Smart Composting System provides a cost-effective, eco-friendly, and smart solution for producing high-quality compost. This innovative project uses off-the-shelf sensors to continuously monitor critical composting environmental variables such as moisture, temperature, methane gas, and humidity to ensure optimal composting conditions. Using an IoT microcontroller, four sensors continually upload key environmental variables to a MySQL database. A user-friendly web interface allows for real-time monitoring and control of composting parameters to ensure optimum composting efficiency. The GreenGenie system reduces waste and creates nutrient-rich soil that benefits both the garden and the environment.
