Any student in grades 6 – 12, who goes to any Catholic, public, private or home school in Elgin, Middlesex, or Oxford Counties.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR THE NON-COMPETITIVE SCIENCE FAIR?
Any student in grades 4 – 5, who goes to Catholic, public, private or home school in Elgin, Middlesex, or Oxford Counties.
WHY SHOULD I ENTER?
The TVSEF is a great place to showcase your knowledge in science, engineering and maker skills! You will have the opportunity to meet other students and people from the London community who are interested in science and technology. You could also win the chance to travel to the national competition, the Canada Wide Science Fair.
CAN I HAVE A PARTNER?
Yes! You can work by yourself, or in teams of two. Larger teams of three or four are allowed, however these projects are not eligible to attend the Canada Wide Science Fair.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO ENTER THE SCIENCE FAIR?
Nothing – it is free! But as we are a charitable organization, we do appreciate your financial support via a donation.
WHAT HAPPENS AT THE SCIENCE FAIR?
You can find the schedule here. For grade 6-12, on Saturday, you will set up your project, meet the judges and talk about your project, have lunch, do some fun activities, and show your project to public visitors. On Sunday, you will show your project to public visitors and VIPs and go to the awards ceremony. For grade 4-5, you will set up and display your project on Friday night.
